Hundreds of severely injured service members are now rehabilitating in military hospitals across the United States after enduring amputations, severe burns, blindness, deafness or paraplegia.

Many of them have the attitude and aptitude required of a Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship recipient - and they are waiting for a chance to build the future of their dreams.

Dozens of volunteers across the country and several corporations have become a part of the Sentinels program. They have formed teams to help our Sentinels find housing, transportation and employment. They ensure that the Sentinel comes home to immediate independence.

How can you help?

I am willing and able to:

  • Make a monetary donation
The Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship Foundationsm is a nonprofit organization that invests funds raised in the futures of scholarship recipients.
  • Pledge an in-kind donation
"In-kind" includes, but is not limited to, donations of housing, new furniture, new vehicle, other new household supplies, supplementary medical services, house-cleaning services and supplementary education assistance.
  • Employ a qualified Sentinel
All Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship recipients have the skills, experience and attitude that employers look for in filling available positions and must successfully complete all interview processes. Our organization is committed to placing Sentinels in jobs with a future.
  • Provide foundation grant information
The Sentinels of Freedom appreciates the support of other community groups and national organizations.
  • Become a corporate sponsor
With the help of national sponsors, the Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship Foundation is able to cast its net farther and wider to help wounded veterans across the United States.
